Today I met a young man who moved to our area from Mexico . He works 7 days a week as a painter…He is grateful for the work, considering himself fortunate to be employed during these difficult economic times. In a few weeks his wife will be giving birth to their first child…a son. He is counting the moments until the big day!
I loved his positive energy…Instead of complaining about his long work week, he smiled as he described his excitement about becoming a Father. His love for his wife and future child shined through his words. He was a very happy man!
I walked away energized by our wonderful conversation. Meeting this young man gives me hope that good times are just down the road.
