Tonight I attended a ribbon cutting/networking event for two new businesses that opened recently in downtown Asheville. It was one of the best events I have attended since opening my chocolate business nine years ago. The energy in the room was full throttle and people semed genuinely happy to be there.
I love meeting new people …Most of the entreprenuers I met tonight fell within the age group of my own 4 children and for that reason alone, there was an instant connection. I met a creative photographer, two talented bakers, and dynamic young lady who works in the medical field.
I am always on the lookout for great new products for Everything Chocolate, Inc. Tonight I sampled an out of this world cupcake from what I predict will become one of the most popular bakers in Western North Carolina and a scrumptious mini cookie baked by a young mother/recent transplant to our area.
