This past week was very busy with lots to do at the new townhome. We had workers walking in and out taking care of last minute details and we had several deliveries made. I wasn’t sure what to expect with the holidays right around the corner. I was pleasantly surprised when everything happened right on schedule.
I’ve been smiling all week because everyone I’ve come in contact with has been extremely nice and friendly. I’m such a people person and I love meeting new folks and learning all about them. In the 22 years I’ve lived in the mountains, I’ve enjoyed getting to know the locals and hearing their stories. There’s something very special about what I endearingly refer to as the home grown folks….Most of them are genuinely nice people.That’s why I love writing about them.
So here’s a big thank-you to the people who helped me get through a really hectic week. I appreciate your good work ethics, your reliability and your friendliness. It was a pleasure meeting all of you and I hope you have a wonderful joyous holiday season!
