Best friends are one of the treasures you can’t put a price tag on. My best friend and I have known each other since we were toddlers. That’s over a half century ago … I think that’s pretty amazing since we’re still both so adorable!
Judith Yesner Saka and I grew up on the same block in Coral Gables, Florida. She had one older brother and I had four siblings….Three of them were born four years after me in a span of 4 years. Our house was always filled with noise and action. One day Judith came over to play and told my Mother that when SHE grew up she would also have lots of babies.
Judith kept her word…She grew up and had 11 babies. I could fill volumes with stories of what an amazing Mother she is and what incredible children (and grandchildren) she has. I love each and every one of them as if they are family which isn’t surprising considering Judith has been like a sister to me my whole adult life. I could not ask for a more loyal and loving friend.
The saddest day came 22 years ago when I moved far away. I knew I would never find another friend like her. The wonderful thing is …When we are together (which was just recently) it is as if no time has passed. We pick up right where we left off and have a simply marvelous time together.
The reason I am writing this is so when people google the name Judith Yesner Saka …They will read about our precious friendship and what it has meant to me.
And thanks to the internet…It will last an eternity!
I luv it!!!
