I’m sitting at my desk looking at my beautiful mountain view and wishing that the sun would come out and brighten the day. I’ve been in such a funk these last few days and the weather just seems to make it worse.
It’s been a long, cold winter… I long for a walk on a beach and a view of the ocean. If I close my eyes, I can imagine the warm breezes and the feel of sand between my toes. Just thinking about it makes me smile. It evokes pleasurable memories of my childhood.
Sometimes life throws you one curve ball after another. This past year, (a challenging one) I’ve been out in the field trying very hard to catch at least one of them and make a home run!
