When I was a little girl my Mother taught me that it was ok to color outside the lines. She listened to my poetry (all free verse) and introduced me to every form of dance…..She created a free spirited daughter and for that I am very grateful.
I believe that there is a free spirit living in all of us just waiting to be released…..Imagine how wonderful it would be if everyone on this planet could freely express their individuality without fear of repercussion.
My Mother has been gone for many years…If I could have just one more conversation with her I would say…Mother…I have passed the torch to the next generation…I raised your grandchildren to dance to the beat of their own drum…Thank-you for showing me how.
