The greatest lessons I received on being a successful entreprenuer came from observing my Father in action. As a young girl, I jumped at every opportunity to be by his side listening and learning.
I remember one day watching an irate customer come flying through his office door. The man was ranting and raving like a lunatic. The louder the customer yelled, the softer my Father talked until finally…the man calmed down. When he left the office he apologized for his outburst and thanked my Father for resolving the issue.
It was lessons like this that made a lasting impression on me. Many times over the years, I have stopped and asked myself, “How would Dad have handled this situation?”
