I’m a harsh critic of the advertising world’s shallow attempts to sell skincare products with all their bogus promises of amazing results. I cringe when I see fading celebrities hawking their skincare lines on “off hour” television. Seems like everyone has gotten into the market.
Imagine my surprise when I found an Oil Of Olay product that actually exceeded my expectations. ( I’ve used their products for over 40 years and always loved the line.) A few years ago, they came out with a product called, ” Regenerist Micro-Sculpting Cream” and it’s fabulous! I use it 24/7 eliminating the need for anything else day or night!
I was always blessed with nice skin (Thanks Dad, for warning me to stay out of the Miami Beach sun with my fair, freckled complexion.) At almost 59, when a lot of my age group are having face lifts and injecting Botox into their skin (can’t even imagine doing that…yuck) I am happy to #1…Wake up every morning with everything working #2 Still recognize the face staring back in the mirror!
After slathering Regenerist Micro-Sculpting Cream all over my face earlier today, I nuzzled up to my hubby to get a comment from him for this column. “So what do you think?” I asked staring into his big hazel eyes. “Can you feel the difference?”
Rubbing his freshly shaved cheek against mine, he grew silent for a minute. “Hard to tell honey” he said. “Seems like it’s the same face I fell in love with almost 34 years ago.” (Bless that man!)
