Today I called my son The Attorney for legal advice…The other day I met with my son The Web Designer to update my chocolate website. I am constantly calling my daughter The Songwriter to ask her opinion about columns I have written. How fast time flies…It seems like yesterday I was mentoring my children…preparing them to go out in the world and do their thing.

I think the greatest joy a parent feels is when they realize their children (whom they’ve always known were incredibly talented) are out there doing amazing things. And it really hits home when you realize that you are reaching for the phone over and over again to call them for professional advice.
