Tonight I had the opportunity to try out for a variety show that is being produced in early Fall. For months I worked on my comedy act….practicing over and over until I got it right. I’m sure people who know me wondered why…at this stage of life… would I put myself out there for a possible rejection….maybe even having tomatoes thrown at me!

There is a simple reason ….I love challenging myself…and I think it’s never too late to put yourself out there. The worst scenario…I could bomb out and be sent home. But surprise surprise…I was chosen for the show!

I think it’s best to set by example. I do NOT want my children to be afraid to go out there and try something new. Sometimes it’s hard to step outside your comfort zone. Tonight I learned…It was worth the risk.
